St. Francis loses to #3 Canisius 0-3

The Red Raiders opened the 2024 MMAA League portion of their schedule with a road match at #3 Canisius on Wednesday night.  The Red Raiders battled tough but came up short losing 24-26, 22-25, 22-25 to drop to 0-1 in league play and 2-3 overall.  The Red Raiders had multiple opportunities to win the match.  Senior Charlie Allesi had 17 kills and 13 digs, junior Aidan Wallace had 23 assists, and senior Payton Mitchell had 3 blocks to lead the team.  Senior Logan Burns had 8 digs, while sophomore Zachary Tyszka and junior Cole Warner each had 2 blocks.
