JV Baseball opens season with win over O'Hara

A pocket of favorable weather allowed JV Baseball to begin their season on Monday April 14th. The early season rust was shaken off as O'Hara kept it close in the early innings before the Red Raiders were able to build a 2 run lead heading into the 4th. The Raiders were led on the mound by Matt Warnes with 9 strikeouts and Nathan Brese in relief with 3 strikeouts in the 7th to close out the game. At the plate Zack Tyszka with led with 2 hits. Nick Antonelli and Brese each scored an RBI each while Liam Fisher had an infield single and stolen base for the Red Raiders offense. JV Baseball returns to action Tuesday April 22nd at Williamsville East at 5pm.
