Red Raiders defeat Orchard Park 25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 23-25, 17-15

The Red Raiders earned a much needed victory on Friday night defeating Orchard Park  25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 23-25, 17-15 to snap a 3-game losing streak.  Senior Charlie Allesi posted a career high 40 kills, while junior Luke Lanning had 5 kills, junior Colton Warner had 3 kills and sophomore Zachary Tyszka had 3 kills.  Junior Aidan Wallace led the team 45 assists and senior Logan Burns led the team with 14 digs.  The team dominated at the net defensively with senior Payton Mitchell leading the way with 1 solo block and 2 assisted blocks, junior Colton Warner adding 2 assisted blocks, and junior Aidan Wallace adding 2 assisted blocks.  The team also totaled 7 aces from the serving line with Allesi leading the way with 4 aces.  The Red Raiders now sit at 3-5 overall and have two home matches this week against Cardinal O’Hara on Wednesday night and Hamburg on Thursday night.
