Red Raiders finish 2nd in pool play at East Aurora Tournament

The Red Raiders finished 2nd in pool play at the East Aurora Tournament after earning a 1-1 split with #3 West Seneca West, a 1-1 split with #6 Lancaster, and a 2-0 sweep over Cheektowaga to finish 4-2 in pool play.  The Red Raiders advanced to the quarterfinals and faced off with #1 St. Joe's.  The Red Raiders ultimately fell short losing 17-25, 22-25 to end their tournament run.  Senior Charlie Allesi and junior Jack Salerno led the team offensively, while senior Logan Burns and Brandon Blaszak controlled the back row defense.  Junior Aidan Wallace led the team in assists.  Juniors Cole Warner and Luke Lanning manned the middle and sophomore Zachary Tyszka had a great day on the right side.  Sophomore Tom Zawada had great digs during the quarterfinal match keeping the Red Raider hope alive
